Bird minimums?

5 during the week and 10 Friday-Sunday. Quail only hunts are 25 minimum.

Do I need a hunting license?

No. Since we are a private licensed shooting preserve, it is not required.

How many people can I have in a group?

1-6 people when doing a field hunt, 6 people or more for a European shoot and 1-12 for Duck hunting.

What shot size is allowed?

7 1/2 or 6 for over dog hunts, 5 shot for a European shoot and 5 or 6 shot for ducks.

What choke do I use?

Improved cylinder or modified when hunting over dogs, Full choke for a European shoot and full choke for ducks.

Why do we require a credit card number when making a reservation?

To hold the reservation. Your card will not be charged unless you fail to cancel or change your reservation within three days. Then there would be a 30% charge.

Is there a charge to pay with a credit card?

Yes, there is a 4% charge.

Form of payment accepted?

Cash, credit or check.

When is your season?

September 1st - April 30th for pheasant, chukar and quail. September-December for ducks. Open 7 days a week.

Is an orange hunting vest required?

Yes, every hunter must have a hunter orange coat and/or vest.

Are dogs and a guide included in the hunt?

Yes, every hunt includes a guide and 2 dogs (pointer & flusher). You may also hunt with your own dog as well.

Are guns available for rent?

Yes. 12 Gauge and 20 Gauge shotguns are available and shells are available for purchase.
